Imogen Parry

Imogen is a European and UK Patent Attorney based in our Oxford office. Imogen’s work involves drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in all areas of chemistry. She has particular experience in the field of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Her background in physical chemistry allows her to work at the interface of physics and chemistry with ease.

Imogen also has experience in dealing with challenges to patents and patent applications before grant. She has been involved with pre- and post-grant challenges to patent applications worldwide and has expertise in co-ordinating global strategies for her clients. For instance, she has experience of pre-grant patent opposition in countries such as India and Brazil and of the new post-grant cancellation procedure in South Korea.

Imogen enjoys working with large and small businesses, advising clients on how to build up a robust patent portfolio in a cost-efficient manner.

Imogen joined J A Kemp in 2015 following a DPhil in laser spectroscopy at Oxford University. She became an associate in 2019.
