Scott Gardiner

Scott is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with over 10 years’ experience in the field of intellectual property law.

Over the course of the past 10 years, Scott has advised a broad range of clients on all aspects of trade mark clearance, protection and enforcement. This includes the routine filing and prosecution of trade mark applications as well as the handling of oppositions, cancellation actions and trade mark infringement proceedings.

Having practised in both the UK and the Middle East, Scott has a truly international outlook which is reflected in the commercially focused advice that he provides to clients. His international experience is particularly valuable to those businesses with extensive global trade mark portfolios and to clients involved in multi-jurisdictional disputes.

Scott is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and is a regularly attendee at trade mark conferences in both the UK and overseas. He is a member of the INTA Young Practitioners Committee.

Scott joined J A Kemp in 2014, where he trained and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, before re-locating to the Middle East in 2019. Scott re-joined J A Kemp after returning to the UK in 2021.
