George Mattey

George is an Associate in J A Kemp’s Trade Marks and Designs Group and has more than eight years’ experience in the field, having qualified in 2019.

In particular, he specialises in trade mark clearance, prosecution, enforcement and portfolio management. George joined J A Kemp in 2023 from an international law firm where he spent more than four years, having spent more than four years at a regional law firm prior to that.

George’s experience spans a wide variety of sectors and industries including fashion, retail, pharma, consumer goods, charities, TMT and financial services.

Owing to his experience at both regional and international law firms prior to his arrival at J A Kemp, George has vast experience in dealing with both start-ups and SMEs, as well as blue chips, multinational and/or publicly floated corporations.
