Lina Cox

Lina joined J A Kemp as a trainee patent attorney in 2020 and is based in our Oxford office.

Lina studied for a Master of Chemistry degree at the University of Oxford. During her studies, Lina undertook a summer research studentship at the University of Lincoln, focusing on synthesis of macromolecules for theranostic purposes. Her final year research project was themed around nucleic acid chemistry, synthesising oligonucleotides with phosphate backbone mimics. Lina stayed with her master’s group as a summer research assistant, analysing spectroscopic and biophysical data, and drafting papers for publication.
