Mia Lintott

Mia joined J A Kemp in 2023 as a trainee patent attorney and is based in the firm’s London office.

Mia studied Biochemistry at the University of Exeter, receiving two Dean’s commendations for exceptional performance during her studies. Within her degree, she undertook an industrial placement year at Abbott Diabetes Care. Here, Mia worked within the R&D department to aid the development of next-generation biosensor technologies.

Her final year project focussed on the development of a one-pot chemical synthesis of N-arylindoles to provide a green and efficient method of synthesising potential drug candidates. Mia and her supervisor published this work in RSC Advances in 2023.
