REAP Conference 2019

As members of Agri-Tech East we will once again be attending the REAP Conference this year. The theme is Innovating towards One Agriculture.

Agri-Tech East is arguing that human health, animal health, ecosystems and food production are inextricably linked by best practice in farming.

Healthy soils can help mitigate or acerbate the impacts of climate change. The choice of crop and its cultivation can determine if food production becomes vulnerable or resilient to disease risk and extreme weather events.

So is “One Agriculture” the answer?
