J A Kemp Opens New Office at Cambridge North
J A Kemp celebrated eight years in Cambridge with a move to new offices at Cambridge North Station on 18 March 2024.
Founded in 1947, J A Kemp is today one of the largest European intellectual property firms, with offices in London, Oxford, Cambridge and Paris. J A Kemp has also had a base in Munich since the opening of the European Patent Office in the 1970s.
The expansion in Cambridge, from a small office on Station Road in 2016, to over 5,000 square feet at One Cambridge Square is testament to both the profusion of innovation in and around Cambridge and the confidence placed in the firm’s attorneys to provide pragmatic advice to support the best commercial outcome.
As well as advising our clients in the Cambridge area and beyond, the local team is active in the Cambridge ecosystem, mentoring entrepreneurs, founders and startup companies from the universities and beyond and working with many local accelerators and venture builders to assist their members to navigate the world of IP.
The building has an EPC rating of A (15) and was chosen in accordance with the firm’s Energy and Environmental Management Policy (ISO 14001/50001).
