Ekaterina Kaliteevskaya

Ekaterina joined J A Kemp as a trainee patent attorney in 2020 and is based in our London office.

Ekaterina studied at the University of Cambridge to achieve a MSci and BA in Natural Sciences. During the course, she studied materials science, physics, mathematics, and chemistry and her Masters project explored the effect of nanostructure on the photophysics of hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites. She completed multiple research placements, including developing derivatives of anti-cancer compounds at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, investigating high-strength aluminium alloys at ETH Zurich and optimising growth parameters for single-crystal hexagonal boron nitride for a large company in the semi-conductor industry. Ekaterina is fluent in Russian.
