Jenny is a trainee patent attorney based in our London office. She joined J A Kemp in 2018, and obtained the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary, University of London in 2020 where she was awarded the Bill Caro prize for achieving the highest overall mark in the examinations.
Jenny’s work includes the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in all areas of chemistry.
Before joining J A Kemp, Jenny obtained her Masters degree from the University of Oxford, where she was awarded the SAB Miller Prize in Chemistry Part IA and the Gibbs Book Prize in Chemistry Part IB. Her Masters project focused on the development of new acridan-based Frustrated Lewis Pair systems to activate small molecules. Jenny also spent a summer working in the research and development department of a multinational fast-moving consumer goods company.
