Lois Carhart

Lois joined the firm as a trainee patent attorney in 2023. During her integrated Masters in Biology, Lois used electron microscopy to investigate the interaction between Herpes Simplex viruses and C3b, a protein in the complement system, as part of her final year project. As part of her degree, Lois also completed an industrial placement at GlaxoSmithKline Biopharm Discovery Department, where her individual project involved developing an automated, high throughput method of concentrating proteins for early drug discovery stability studies.

Lois is based in the firm’s Cambridge office. Outside of work, Lois has a passion for show-jumping and has competed at a national level.
