Louise West

Louise is an IP Paralegal working in J A Kemp’s London office.

Louise started her career in the intellectual property industry in 2019. She was based in the International department of another leading IP firm, handling the European grant stage and foreign national phases for patents and designs. She was supervisor of her team for a year before starting with J A Kemp in January 2024.

She passed the CIPA Introductory Patent Paralegal Course (IPPC) in 2025 with a 100% pass mark and was awarded the Brown Prize for highest mark across candidates in the year.
