We would not be able to provide excellent service to our clients without a strong team of committed individuals in a variety of business support roles. These include Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, Facilities, Business Intelligence and Business Process roles. Usually, recruitment into our business support team is driven by operational requirements. We are open to speculative approaches, but if the timing is not right there may not be an opportunity for you. Here is some information about two of our central support functions.

IP Support

Formalities

We have a large, highly experienced, professional Formalities team whose activities are core to our business operations and client service delivery. Team responsibilities cover processing incoming mail and docketing client instructions, European grant and address for service procedures, instructing (and managing) foreign agents to act on behalf of our clients and handling patent and trade mark renewals. We are always open to hearing from strong candidates with relevant experience wishing to be considered for suitable vacancies as and when they arise.

Paralegals

We have paralegals in various parts of the firm, working very closely with our patent and trade mark attorneys to help deliver excellent levels of client service. Our paralegals have different roles, reflecting the attorneys they support and the skills, experience and value they bring to the role. The firm always wants to hear from highly motivated, strong performers keen to explore opportunities here.

Information Technology (IT)

The IT team consists of Support, Infrastructure, Applications and Training functions. The work the IT team do is to support the firm day to day and also look for enablers in technology to set the roadmap for improvements and technology investment. The team works closely with all divisions of the firm to align goals and priorities.
