J A Kemp Ranked in Top Tier by Managing Intellectual Property

J A Kemp has been ranked as a top tier firm in the 2018 edition of the IP Stars Handbook, published by Managing Intellectual Property.

The firm is praised for all areas of IP work, with a patent client quoted as saying "J A Kemp is second to none in my experience" and a trade mark client commenting "J A Kemp has helped us every step of the way".

Eight of the firm's partners - Tom Albertini, Tom Carver, James Fish, Mike Nicholls, Mark Roberts, Sarah Roques, Amanda Simons and Ravi Srinivasan - are identified as "IP Stars". Tom Albertini and James Fish are trade mark partners, Tom Carver is a patent litigator and the other five "IP Stars" are all patent attorneys.

The publication also identifies as "recommended patent attorneys" Patrick Campbell and Jane Sexton (partners based in the firm's London office), Colin Merryweather (Oxford office) and Heidi Aston (Cambridge office).

Patent associates Vicki Allen, Guy Brain and Henry Hunt-Grubbe are all identified as "rising stars", with Sophie Evans and James Cracknell also being praised for exemplary client care.

Ben Mooneapillay and Charlotte Stirling are singled out for praise as trade mark partners and Alan Bryson as a trade mark litigator. Trade mark associate Laurie Smith is identified as a "rising star".
