Dan Hilton
Dan is a European Patent Attorney based in the firm's London office.
Dan joined J A Kemp in 2020. He works across a range of biotechnology and life sciences subject matter, particularly focusing on gene editing and immunology.
Dan obtained his Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford. His final year research project, which was spent at the William Dunn School of Pathology, investigated the cellular mechanisms that regulate RNA processing. At university Dan was awarded various prizes, including a Titley Scholarship for academic achievement. He also spent a summer as a research assistant at the Francis Crick Institute studying the metabolism of hepatic tumours.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys cooking, having spent a short time working as a chef before joining the firm.
