Tatiana Foggitt

Tatiana joined J A Kemp as a Trainee Patent Attorney in 2025 from another leading patent firm and is based in the firm’s London office.

Before starting her training, Tatiana completed an MChem degree at the University of Oxford, where she graduated with first-class honours. Tatiana also received several prizes for her performance in examinations during her studies, including the runner-up Inorganic Thesis Prize for her final year research.

Having developed a broad technical background from her undergraduate studies, Tatiana specialised in polymer catalysis during her final year. In her Master’s research project, Tatiana investigated a series of known organometallic catalysts for the synthesis of novel poly(ester-amides). The project focussed on screening several aluminium-based catalysts, along with a wide range of monomers, to provide an optimised ring-opening copolymerisation of N-sulfonyl aziridines and cyclic anhydrides.
