Josephine Pepper

Josie is a European and UK Patent Attorney based in our Cambridge office. She works with a range of clients across the biotechnology space, with particular interest in microbiology, immunology and agri-tech.

Prior to joining J A Kemp in 2021, she worked at a boutique intellectual property firm in Oxford. She completed the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law in 2020, with Distinction in all modules, and the European pre-qualifying Examination in 2022.

Josie holds a first-class MBiochem in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, where her thesis focused on molecular genetics. She also studied virology and microbiology in lab placements and specialist exchange programmes abroad in Europe and the US.

Josie is a member of the CIPA Sustainability Committee.
